Michael J. Caporale Biography

Bio of Michael J. Caporale:

Born 11/25/48, South Hackensack, NJ. died 4/19/68 

Michael was killed in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam. He was based out of Dong Ha Combat Base, just south of the demilitarized zone (DMZ). This northernmost Marine base was used to stop the infiltration of North Vietnamese into the south via the DMZ and the Ho Chi Minh Trail, which snaked through Laos and Cambodia along the western border of South Vietnam.
